A crisis intervention community mural created with community participants during active conflict. Dialogue and design development began before Benjamin’s physical arrival.

The creative process

The work helped establish the ethnographic foundation for the dissertation’s Ukraine case study. The research subsequently examines Olena Yanko’s practice, collaborative composition and the role of local artistic leadership.

A continuing conversation

This project belongs to a wider practice of community-authored expression. Its relationship to Artegenesis is explored as part of Benjamin’s developing research, without assuming identical effects across communities.
